The Nokia 770 offers portable web surfers a beautiful 4.1 inch color touch screen and a built in speaker. It weighs only 8.2 ounces and connects to the net by built in Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.

We found in our tests that the 770 was a little slow at loading web pages however once a page is loaded the 770 displays them much better than a typical PDA. The 770 uses the new Opera 8 mobile web browser, which supports JavaScript, Flash and even plug-ins.

Bank of America Online Banking customers will be able to use their cell phones and smartphones when they're on-the-go to check account balances, pay bills and transfer money with the launch of secure mobile banking, the bank announced today.

Bank of America's free mobile banking service, delivers more convenience and control to customers by providing secure access to their banking information anywhere, anytime. The bank is launching the service in Tennessee beginning in March and will roll mobile banking out to markets across the country through mid-year.
Apple First Quarter Results: Revenue Exceeds $7 Billion; Record Profit of $1 Billion

Apple today announced financial results for its fiscal 2007 first quarter ended December 30, 2006. The Company posted record revenue of $7.1 billion and record net quarterly profit of $1.0 billion.These results compare to revenue of $5.7 billion and net quarterly profit of $565 million in the year-ago quarter. Gross margin was 31.2 percent, up from 27.2 percent in the year-ago quarter. International sales accounted for 42 percent of the quarter’s revenue.
Apple shipped 1,606,000 Macintosh® computers and 21,066,000 iPods during the quarter, representing 28 percent growth in Macs and 50 percent growth in iPods over the year-ago quarter.
NAPSTER takes over AOL Music Now
AOL and Napster, announced today that Napster will be taking over AOL Music Now. The two companies will work together to migrate approximately 350,000 paid subscribers of the Music Now service to Napster’s digital music subscription service. Additionally, AOL will promote Napster with links to the Napster service throughout AOL’s free music site, AOL Music (www.aolmusic.com), one of the top music destinations on the Web.
Music Now customers are being notified that their music accounts will be migrated to Napster unless they opt out. In order to enjoy uninterrupted service, Music Now customers will be able to use their current member ID and password to access the Napster subscription service, and their billing information will be securely transferred directly to Napster. In addition, Napster will re-create migrating customers’ existing personal Music Now music libraries, including any original playlists they have created and saved. Napster also will retain Music Now’s current pricing tiers for migrating subscribers and to transfer any pre-paid track credits they have in their accounts. “We are pleased to provide our subscribers the opportunity to seamlessly transition to Napster, which will become the only music subscription service integrated into AOL Music,” said Mike Rich, Vice President, AOL Entertainment. “Music Now subscribers can look forward to enjoying a world-class music experience from Napster.”
